Executive Chef Cheng Lu
Our talented executive chef Cheng Lu comes from the old Chinese city of Xi’an. He has worked in the industry for over 30 years and has been serving award-winning dishes at Shang Palace Restaurant for 7 years. Having lived in Turkey for 16 years, Chef Cheng Lu has a strong connection with the local traditions. His enthusiasm and personal attention to guests helps create a warm and friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Leading a talented team consisting of all Chinese chefs at Shang Palace, together they bring delightful flavours of the Chinese and Cantonese cuisine; from La Mian to Dim-Sums, and from Wok-Stir-Fried Seafood to one of our signature flavours, Roasted Peking Duck. The Peking Duck is an experience he highly recommends to guests, being both tasteful and visual in its presentation.
